We got tired of driving 20 minutes to a range, only to find the grass tees were closed on Mondays. So we built the directory we always wished existed.

The origin

It started with a
frustrating Monday morning

It was a Tuesday. We'd driven 18 minutes to our local range specifically to hit off grass — working on our irons before a weekend tournament. The sign said "Grass tees closed for maintenance — mats available." No mention of this anywhere online. No heads-up on their website. Just a sign.

We drove home. On the way, we searched for every other range within 15 miles. Five Google searches. Five different websites. Two had no information about whether they even had grass tees. One had hours that hadn't been updated since 2021.

That was the moment. We didn't need another golf app. We needed one honest, well-designed place to find a practice facility — with the specific filters that serious golfers actually care about.
